Schedule 1 is a drug-dealing simulation game where mixing is the core profit mechanic. Raw drugs sell for their base price. Mixed drugs sell for significantly more, because each effect added to a mix increases the sell price through a multiplier system.
The basics
Every mix starts with a base product: one of four weed strains (OG Kush, Sour Diesel, Green Crack, Granddaddy Purple), Meth, Cocaine, or Shrooms. Each has a base sell price and may start with default effects. Ingredients are added using a Mixing Station. There are 16 ingredients, purchased primarily at the Gas Mart. Some are available from the start; others unlock as you advance through ranks.
Effects and price
Each mix can carry up to 8 effects. Each effect has a price multiplier. The sell price formula is:
Sell Price = Base Product Price × (1 + sum of all effect multipliers)A weed strain at $35 base with effects totalling +4.0 sells for $35 × 5.0 = $175. The same strain with low-value effects totalling +1.2 sells for $77. The difference between a good mix and a bad one is effect quality, not ingredient quantity.
Transformations
When you add an ingredient, it doesn't just add its own default effect. It first checks every effect already in the mix against its replacement rules, and swaps the ones that match. Cuke's default effect is Energizing, and it carries a rule that turns Toxic into Euphoric. Add Cuke to a mix containing Toxic and you get Euphoric + Energizing - Toxic is gone.
These rules run in two passes every time you add an ingredient. First all current effects are checked against the new ingredient's rules. Then the ingredient's default effect is added if there's still room.
Why order matters
Because transformations check what's in the mix at the moment of addition, the order you add ingredients determines which effects are present when each new rule fires. The same set of ingredients in a different order can produce entirely different effects and a different sell price. This is why testing a recipe in the calculator before cooking it in-game is worth the 30 seconds.
Ranks and ingredient unlocks
Not all ingredients are available from the start. Cuke ($2), Banana ($2), Paracetamol ($3) and Donut ($3) unlock immediately. Flu Medicine, Mouth Wash and Viagra unlock at early Hoodlum ranks. Gasoline, Motor Oil, Iodine and Chili unlock through Peddler ranks. Mega Bean ($7), Battery ($8), Addy ($9) and Horse Semen ($9) unlock at higher ranks. The highest-profit recipes typically require late-rank ingredients.
