Schedule 1 Mixing Calculator

Add ingredients, see effects and profit update live. Every number matches what you see in-game.

Mixing in Schedule 1 is where money is made, but the system is less straightforward than it looks. Adding an ingredient doesn't just add its effect. It can replace effects already in the mix, trigger chains of substitutions, and completely change what you end up with.

The Mixing Calculator runs the same logic the game uses. Pick your base product, add ingredients in the order you plan to use them, and see the resulting effects, sell price, cost and profit before spending a single dollar in-game. If the result isn't what you wanted, swap ingredients around or try a different order - no consequences, no wasted stock.

For players who know the effects they want and need to find the recipe that produces them, the Effect Finder works in reverse. For players who want the most profitable recipe without experimenting by hand, the Recipe Optimizer scans combinations and ranks them by profit.

How Schedule 1 mixing works

Base products and ingredients

Every mix starts with a base product. The four weed strains - OG Kush, Sour Diesel, Green Crack and Granddaddy Purple - all start at $35. Shrooms start at $65, Meth at $70 and Cocaine at $150. Each product may come with default effects of its own.

Ingredients are added one at a time at a Mixing Station, and they unlock as you rank up. Only Cuke and Donut are available from the very start; Banana arrives at Street Rat V, Paracetamol at Hoodlum II, and the expensive ones - Mega Bean, Battery, Addy, Horse Semen - come later through the Hoodlum and Peddler ranks.

The transformation system

This is the part most players miss. When you add an ingredient, it doesn't just append its own effect. Every effect currently in the mix is checked against that ingredient's transformation rules, and any effect that matches gets replaced.

A simple example - Cuke meets Toxic
Cuke ($2)ToxicEuphoricEnergizing

Cuke turns Toxic into Euphoric, then adds its own default effect, Energizing. So a mix carrying Toxic doesn't become Toxic + Energizing - it becomes Euphoric + Energizing. The substitution is unconditional: if the mix already held Euphoric, Cuke's other rule would turn that one into Laxative in the same pass.

The rules run in two phases: first every current effect is transformed, then the ingredient's own default effect is added if there is still room and it isn't already present. The ceiling is 8 effects per mix.

Why ingredient order matters

Because transformations apply to whatever is in the mix at that moment, the order you add ingredients changes what each rule finds. Ingredient B reacts to the mix after Ingredient A was added, not to what the base product started with. The same ingredients in a different order can produce entirely different effects, and entirely different prices.

How the price is calculated

Each effect carries a price multiplier. The sell price is the base product price scaled by the sum of those multipliers:

Sell price = round(base price × (1 + sum of effect multipliers))

The result is rounded to the nearest dollar. Cost is the sum of the ingredient prices, and profit is sell price minus cost. The calculator shows all of it as you build.

The 8-effect ceiling

A mix carries at most 8 effects. Once it is full, a new ingredient's default effect is dropped - but its transformation rules still fire, so it can still reshape the mix. That is what makes order decisive on long recipes: it decides which 8 effects survive.

How to use the calculator

  1. 1Pick your base productsChoose what you're cooking. Leave several selected and the calculator compares them side by side on the same ingredient list.
  2. 2Add ingredients in orderAdd them in the order you'll use them in-game. Effects, sell price, cost and profit update on every change, and you can reorder to see the difference.
  3. 3Read the resultCheck the final effects, sell price, cost, margin and addiction. If it isn't what you wanted, reorder or swap an ingredient and watch it move.
  4. 4Save or shareSave the recipe to keep it, or copy a link to send the exact build to someone else. Saving works without an account; signing in syncs it across devices.

FAQ

Does the order I add ingredients actually matter?
Yes, more than most players expect. Transformation rules apply to the mix as it stands, so adding B after A gives a different result than A after B. The calculator runs the same sequential logic as the game - the effects match in-game as long as you add ingredients in the same order.
What's the difference between a default effect and a transformation?
A default effect is what an ingredient contributes on its own. A transformation is what it does to effects already in the mix, replacing them with something else. Transformations run first; the default effect is only added afterwards, and only if there's room and it isn't already there.
How many ingredients can I add?
There's no hard limit on ingredients, but a mix carries at most 8 effects. Once it's full, further ingredients can still transform existing effects - their own default effect just won't be added. The calculator enforces this the same way the game does.
Why do two mixes with the same ingredients sell for different prices?
Price depends only on the effects present at the end, never on which ingredients produced them. Change the order and you can end up with a different set of effects, different multipliers, and a different sell price.
Which ingredients are available at the start?
Only Cuke and Donut, both at Street Rat I. Viagra, Mouth Wash and Flu Medicine follow through Street Rat II-IV, Banana and Gasoline at Street Rat V. Energy Drink, Paracetamol, Motor Oil, Mega Bean, Chili and Battery unlock across the Hoodlum ranks, and Iodine, Addy and Horse Semen at Peddler I-III.
How is addiction calculated?
It's the sum of the addiction values of the final effects, and for chemical products (Meth, Cocaine, Shrooms) the product's own base addiction is added on top. The total is capped at 100%.
Does the calculator support every product?
Yes - the four weed strains, Meth, Cocaine and Shrooms, seven in total. Select more than one and you get a side-by-side comparison of the same ingredient list across products.
Do I need an account?
No. The calculator is fully usable without one, and recipes you save are kept in your browser. An account syncs them across devices and unlocks the community features.
